Walking in Neive, which is considered as “one of the most beautiful village of
Italy”, characterized by its Medieval narrow streets, tourists can see the arch that takes them
to the “Bottega dei vini” (under the city hall palace). Founded in 1983 by
a small group of wine-producers from Neive, the “Bottega dei 4 vini” aims to symbolize all the producers
and, thanks to its charm, it is the perfect place where people can spend their time drinking an excellent
glass of wine.
Cozy and comfort are mixed together in the Bottega and that is why people can take a rest and restore
themselves for a while. Here, tourists have the chance to buy the excellent wines produced
in Neive such as Barbera d’Alba, Barbaresco, Dolcetto d’Alba and Moscato d’Asti, which give the Bottega the
name “4 vini”.
In addition, the wine shop sells also typical sweeties: sweet-truffles, hazelnuts cake, nougat, fresh
cookies (all of them cooked by the students of the bakery school “Arte Bianca” from Neive), the traditional
“Infernotti” and “Baffi del Re” (both handmade cookies produced by the biscuit factori “I biscotti della
Signora Brambilla” located in Cella Monte (AL).
Not only wine and food remark the uniqueness of the Bottega: art is another key point. Nowadays the Bottega
host two art exhibitions linked to the world of the wine. The artists are the painter Giovanni Sirio and the
psicodesigner Ernestina Rossotto.
Let’s come to visit us and lose yourself into this magic world characterized by its colors, flavors, art and
charm.
